I hold a Master of Science degree in Social Work; the Direct Practice/Clinical track from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and I also hold a Bachelor of Art in Liberal Studies; Psychology, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I currently hold a dual licensure in the state of Nevada as Licensed Social Worker (LSW) as well as Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). I also have earned my certification as a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH) through the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE). Currently, I am working as a therapist – CSW-Intern with the UNLV - School of Medicine within the department of Mojave Adult, Child and Family Services. My current caseload involves providing bi-lingual (English & Spanish) therapeutic services for clients who have a severe mental illness (SMI) diagnosis as well as co-occurring disorders. I am currently working on my internship hours to become an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in the State of Nevada and completing the necessary continuing education courses to become a Clinical Supervisor for Alcohol and Drug Counselors.
